Pet Doctors are Champions!

Our proud teamSunday 5th July 2009 saw a team of Pet Doctors staff and friends from East Sussex fiercely battling against other brave soles in an "It's a Knockout Competition" at the Seaford Family Fun Day.

Organised by the Rotary Club in Seaford, the Fun Day is an annual event held at the Wave Leisure Centre to raise money for charity.  This year the nominated charities were International Polio Plus Fund and the Chestnut Tree House Hospice.

A total of 13 teams from organisations in the area competed against each other throughout the day.

A foam-covered VickiThe competition was not for the faint-hearted and most suited to those who like getting very wet and covered in foam!!  Overall, the jubilant Pet Doctors team scored the highest points making them the winners of the tournament.

They won a stunning inflatable trophy, a badge and a Mars Bar each!

The team for our Seaford clinic comprised of Grant Divall, Vicki Horne, Ross Horne, Karen Scott, Emma Welsh, Shelley Mildon, Lee Mildon, Emma Law, Pip Bulman and one of our clients,  Viv Carson.

"The Pet Doctors team had a blast at the event," said Grant Divall.  "It was a great day and we were delighted to win - even though the stiffness in our muscles afterwards caused us to move around rather delicately for a few days!  We were also delighted to help raise funds for two great local charities."

Well done team!
