Scouts' Efforts Boost Pet Doctors Charity of Choice
The 16th Seaford/St Lukes Scout Group raised £100 with a tombola at the recent Seaford Carnival. They’ve split the proceeds between charity Children of Chernobyl and Hearing Dogs for Deaf people - the charity of the year at Pet Doctors in Seaford. Corey Digby-Clarke from the Scout Group is pictured handing over the cheque to vet Karen Scott from Pet Doctors.
She comments: "The scouts worked really hard on their tombola and it's great that they're helping two important charities. Hearing Dogs are invaluable companions for many deaf people but require years of training. We're doing all we can this year to support the charity's work to get more dogs ready for this vital role."
