Out of Hours

Pet Doctors Animal Hospital looks after and promotes the healthcare needs of DOGS, CATS, RABBITS and other small domestic pets including birds and exotic species. We endeavour to be an approachable and caring practice to provide the best of care for you and your pet. If any aspect of our service fails to meet your expectations, please let us know. What To Do If The Surgery Is Closed      

The practice provides 24 hour cover, 365 days a year for our clients. If you have an EMERGENCY, OR NEED URGENT ADVICE, first telephone the Newport hospital. You will hear a recorded message which will give you the telephone number of the duty vet. Night and weekend emergencies are seen by special appointment at Newport.

In all cases you must telephone first to ensure the duty vet will be there for you.

House Calls

If you would like us to visit your pet at home, we will be happy to oblige in appropriate cases. House calls are more expensive and we recommend that if at all possible you bring patients to the Newport hospital where greater facilities and trained staff are available 24 hours.
