Puppy Socialisation Courses

We run 3 week Puppy Socialisation Courses that allow young dogs who have had their first vaccination to start socialising with other puppies of the same age. These are run by our qualified staff and allow your puppy to get used to the veterinary practice environment, hopefully preventing phobias later in life.

We cover many topics of puppy care including:-

- Diet and weight management

- House training

- Socialisation

- Dog Law

- Grooming / Nail Clipping / Dental Care

- First training steps

- Introduction to clicker training

These classes allow you to ask any questions and include a mini nurse consultation to get your pet used to being examined (treats and fuss included!). There is also a training starter kit included.

Repeat Prescriptions and Food Ordering Service

We keep a range of Prescription Diets and Hills Vet Essentials Pet Food in stock, however, we always recommend calling or emailing us to ensure we have the correct food in stock for your pet to prevent a wasted journey. We can always order it in for the following day.

We ALWAYS require 24 hours notice for repeat prescriptions. This is so that the vet can check and produce the prescription and so that we can ensure we have the correct medication and amount in stock. You can call or email your requests to us.

Please remember that due to strict guidlines the Veterinary Surgeon may need to see your pet for a prescription health check - usually at least every 6 months, sometimes more frequently in certain cases. All consultations are chargeable.
