  • Dr Tom McNaughton BVSc MRCVS

    Senior Veterinary Surgeon

    Dr Tom McNaughton BVSc MRCVS is our Senior Veterinary Surgeon and works Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Tom is originally from East Sussex, having grown in up Bexhill. He and his family moved to New Zealand in 2001, where he carried out his vet training at Massey University. He graduated in 2010 and spent his first year as a qualified vet as an intern at a specialist practice in Auckland, learning from specialists in small animal medicine and surgery. He moved to the UK in 2011 and has worked in general practice ever since. Tom started at Pet Doctors as a locum in 2016 and liked the practice so much he decided to stay put, taking a permanent position later that year. In his spare time Tom enjoys tennis, golf, squash, cycling and walking.

  • Dr Sile Veale MVB MRCVS

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Originally from Ireland, Síle has been based in Sussex since 2007. She qualified as a veterinary surgeon from University College Dublin in 2004 and since this has worked in small animal practice in the UK, Australia and Ireland.

  • Helen Baldwin RVN

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Helen Baldwin RVN qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2001 and has been with the Pet Doctors team since 2003. Helen loves her work and always makes a big fuss of any animal coming to visit. She has a particular interest in inpatient care, exotics and behaviour. Helen is available for nurse consultations on Monday.

  • Nicola Harman VN

    Animal Nursing Assistant

    Nicola joined us in July 2016 as an Animal Nursing Assistant. She has a Staffordshire bull terrier called Tallulah, chickens and 3 sheep called Thelma, Golly and Lizzy.
