 Welcome to Riverbank, The Lawns. Consultations are by appointment. We try to ensure that follow – up appointments are made with the same veterinary surgeon so that continuity is maintained and you and your pet see a familiar face. If you would like to see a particular vet let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this. When making an appointment please tell our receptionist if you are bringing in more than one animal so that we can make more time available to you.

Our Facilities include:- A well equipped air-conditioned theatre with two separate operating tables.
Up to date induction agents and anaesthetic gases so that risks from anaesthesia are as low as possible.

A separate dental unit with facilities for ultrasonic scaling, polishing and tooth extraction.
ECG equipment to identify heart rate and rhythm disorders that cannot otherwise be detected.
Radiography with automatic processing to provide high quality X Rays for rapid reading
An ultrasound machine to aid in the diagnosis of many medical conditions.

In house laboratory facilities to test blood and urine enables us to Give rapid results to aid prompt and appropriate treatment.

In patient wards provide safe, warm and comfortable accommodation for your pets.

The practice provides 24 hour cover, 365 days a year for our clients. If you have an EMERGENCY, OR NEED URGENT ADVICE, first telephone the Newport Hospital. You will hear a recorded message which will give you the telephone number of the duty vet. Night and weekend emergencies are seen by special appointment at the Newport Hospital.
