RVCS Accredited Practice

As an accredited practice, we have passed an inspection carried out by an experienced veterinary surgeon focusing on a range of areas, including hygiene, health and safety, clinical governance and the facilities we provide, to name just a few of the many criteria.

The practice will be reinspected every four years and we will be subject to spot-checks in the meantime, so we have to keep on our toes.

The Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary initiative - not all practices are part of it yet.

RCVS accreditation means that as a client you can rest assured that our practice offers a high quality of care - in those bits of the practice that you can see - and those that you can't

Charities

We support a local charity: Seaford Dog and Cat Rescue.

We see and treat animals from both charities and point prespective owners in their direction to rehome some of the animals. We carry out any necessary operations as well as routine preventative healthcare to ensure the animals are in tip top condition before being rehomed!

Pet transport/Ambulance service

During working hours, if you need a ambulance service if your pet is unwell and you are unable to bring them to the clinic yourself, pad2pad are happy to help.

They also offer a dog walking service. Please contact them on 01323 896662/ 07792307082/ 07973285418

or check out their website: www.pad2pad.co.uk

Repeat Prescriptions

We offer all our clients repeat prescriptions on a 24 hour notice period. This means before coming to collect the medication, please ring or pop into the clinic at least 24 hours beforehand to request the medication. This is repeated on a 6 month period, when we have to examine the patient again to repeat the prescriptions, to show the patients are ' under our care'. This would cost £31.75. If necessary you can request a written prescription, to obtain your medication from a online pharmacy or other source. This costs £9.72.

Payments

Please note, a consultation fee will be incured on each visit.

We require payment at the end of each consult or on the collection of your pet, after surgery. We accept payments with cash, debit card and most credit cards.
