DOG WALKS
Nurses and receptionist get together on a regular basis with their dogs ranging from as small as a Chihuahua to as large as a German Shepherd. As a result the team are planning to participate in a charity dog walk in the summer for Pet Doctor’s charity ‘Hounds for Heroes’.

Graham Godfrey BVetMed, MRCVS
Veterinary surgeon
Graham qualified from The Royal Veterinary College in 1978. He spent five years working in large and mixed practice before joining David Callaghan, Woking and Guildford, in 1983, to concentrate on his special interests of companion animal medicine and surgery. He became a partner with David Callaghan in 1995 and the partnership developed a large group of small animal clinics and two referral centres in North West Surrey. The Partnership was acquired by Pet Doctors in 2002 and Graham returned to being a full time small animal clinician at the Woking practice so he could concentrate on his love of all aspects of veterinary care. He has a terrier called ‘Spud’.

Vanesa Palop Chamorro MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Vanesa qualified from the “Universidad Cardenel Herrera-CEU” in Valencia, Spain in 2004. She worked in Spain for a while then came to England to continue her formation, she did and externship at the AHT, then worked for over 3 years in a small animal practice to finally do an internship at the VRCC. She joined Pet Doctors in 2010. She has a little rescue dog called Lola who has the loudest voice in the known world ...but her mum loves her!!

Ana Bonache MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Ana graduated in 1999 from Barcelona University in Spain. She has been working in England since 2001 where she initially spent eight months as a veterinary officer working for the State Veterinary Service helping with the control of the foot and mouth disease epidemic. She then worked in a mixed practice in Lincolnshire for a couple of years. She has been working for Pet Doctors since 2004. She obtained a Certificate in Small Animal Practice in 2007. She has a special interest in Emergency Medicine and enjoys sports. She has a handsome three year old boy called Ethan who loves chasing their cat Drakkar.

Nicki Ramsay RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Nicki has been a veterinary nurse for 21 years. She says the best thing about her job is that you never know what will come in from one day to the next. She has owned a variety of pets over the years, including dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and tortoises. She currently has two tortoises and a border collie called Rhos and competes in dog agility shows (with her dog not the tortoises).

Zoe Anders
Student Veterinary Nurse
Zoe started working at Woking in July 2009. Zoe has been nursing for five years and particularly enjoys caring for critical patients and dedicating lots of time to them. In her free time Zoe enjoys riding, socialising and walking her two dogs Lucky and Summer. Zoe also has a cat called Bubbles.

Sarah Stringer
Student Veterinary Nurse
Sarah started working for Pet Doctors as a floating receptionist across Surrey for two years. She then transferred to Wey Referals to do Reception work before starting her nurse training. After completing her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification at Godalming, Sarah came back to Woking to do her Veterinary Nurse training and is now in her final year. Sarah has four cats, two very cute Westies and a guinea-pig called Randy! Sarah loves taking her dogs for long walks and eating out at country pubs.

Jo Allen
Student Practice Nurse
Jo joined Pet Doctors in July 2009, with her bubbly personality she is excellent with clients. Jo is a qualified ANA nurse and is currently training for her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. In her free time Jo enjoys competing her horse Taz, working her gun dogs and shooting. Jo recently qualified for the Royal London horse show in both the Veteran and Coloured classes.

Jeanette Charman
Receptionist
Jeanette has been working as a receptionist at Woking since November 2004, she enjoys working at the busy clinic. Jeanette feels she has a good rapport with the clients and feels it is very important to make them feel someone really does care especially in their time of need. Jeanette has particular interest in bereavem ent support and client care. She has three cats and a little dog. Her hobbies are gardening, photography and of course walking her little dog..

Kylie Toms BSc (Hons)
Receptionist
Kylie recently started working as a receptionist at the Woking practice in June 2011 after finishing her degree in Animal Science. She enjoys working in a busy practice and likes to be well organised. Kylie has a passion for horses and competes her two Astra and Stunner in her free time. Kylie also has a gerbil, four cats and two dogs.

Gaby Edgely
Receptionist
Gaby joined Pet Doctors Woking on a part-time basis in May 2007. She then went on to join a group of ladies at the RSPCA, helping walk dogs.Whilst doing this she decided to adopt a Chihuahua called Myella which was one of the RSPCA rescues. Myella had many behavioural problems, which Gaby faced head on and after months of training she is now the perfect family pet. Through getting Myella Gaby has found that she has a lot of patience and time for animals. Gaby also has a Cat called Tuppence, which gets on with Myella perfectly. Her hobbies are travelling, cooking and socialising and taking Myella to Agility classes
