Turkey Bones

Q. Is it safe to let my cat and dog chew on the cooked turkey bones?
A. Not really.  Turkey bones need to be cleared away properly and not stuck in the top of the rubbish bin which can easily be pawed out.  Cooked bones, especially poultry, tend to splinter so they could puncture your pets’ stomachs and lead to a serious infection.
