Dental problems in rabbits are quite common. 

Rabbits’ teeth grow continually so if your rabbit’s diet is short of Calcium and Vitamin D this will have a serious effect on his bones and teeth. 

A rabbit’s teeth can quickly become deformed and may cut into the tongue or cheek causing ulceration or abscessation. 

Your vet can give your rabbit a full dental check and advise on a nutritionally-balanced diet to reduce dental disease.
